The Criminal Justice Research And Planning Unit
The Criminal Justice Research and Planning Unit (CJRPU) is the research arm under the Office of the Attorney General and Legal Affairs and the hub for the Barbados Crime Observatory. The Unit collates, examines and analyses data related to the incidence of crime and issues within the criminal justice system and advises the Attorney General and Minister of Legal Affairs on policies and/or strategies to combat criminality in Barbados.
